My Tenerife Takeover
I visited Tenerife (the largest island of the Spanish Canary Islands) with my family to celebrate the beginning of summer and two birthdays-mine and my dad’s.
On day one we went to a restaurant and ate good food. We also went to the beach which was filled with black sand from the volcanoes that erupted in the past. After that we went dolphin and whale watching. We saw bottlenose dolphins, hunchback whales and even saved a sea turtle. Then we went back to to the hotel and had dinner.
On day two we went to the #1 water park in the world, Siam Park. My mom did not like the extreme rides that had roller coaster drops. The first ride was the Singha, it has high speed curves and this speed has never been seen in a water park. My favorite ride was the Kinnaree it had tornado waves and it takes your breath away. My mom said the park was very clean and fun after all.
On day three we went on an island tour with a guide, Antonio. There are over 400 volcanoes on the island and we saw several. We climbed a volcano in Tiede National Park and it was very steep. After we climbed the volcanoes, we ate at a restaurant that was actually a working farm and vineyard. and we also named the cats on the farm. Glitter Princess named one Lightning we both named the other cat Thunder. After that we went to a place that had good views and cakes.
We spent all day at the beach had fresh pineapple. We also ate at a steakhouse followed along with three desserts for my birthday.
Tenerife was our first holiday of the summer and I already miss the beach and sun.
